He was born in Erzincan in 1978. He has started playing the local instrument “baglama” inspired by his great master Hasret Gültekin. His first tutorials was with Yildirim Uygun and Nural Gungor. Then he attended courses in many well known music institutions to develop his musical knowledge. He has been teaching baglama lessons since 2000. His first experience as a teacher was in Istanbul University Student Culture for 4 years. He has then entered Halic University conservatory branch and studied a year. Between 2007-2015 he has taught music lessons in primary, secondary and high schools. In 2013 he created his first solo album record named “Bana Eslik Et” under the directory of Zeynel Gunbek and he did group work under the name of “Monte Verita” with Argus Libertus and gave concerts that Adalar township has organized. Mr. Sezgin also performed at Local Traditional musics, composed music for well known poet writers' poems such as Nazim Hikmet, Ahmed Arif, Ahmet Telli, Can Yucel, Bertolt Brecht. He has moved to London in 2016 and has been teaching at London School of Arts since January 2019.
