In 2007, two musicians Mr. Ali Adatas (Guitarist) and Mr.Bulent Akbudak (Opera Singer) crossed paths in London. Sharing the same passion for music and teaching music they have decided to work together. Initially they rented a church hall to start teaching one to one lessons and they were the teachers and the managers of their own 2 person company. Student number increased in such a short time that they had to look for new teachers to join their team. The church hall was not big enough anymore, so soon after, they have opened their first branch by hiring Bush Hill Park, Ayley Croft Community Centre and hired 5 more teachers to work with them. They have started with 50 students and in 3 years’ time reached 300. With the growth of the company the directors have decided to open the second and the biggest branch of London School of Arts in Enfield Town.
In 2014 with a belief that everyone should be able to dance, play music and create art, they have decided take the opportunity to move into a building in Enfield which would facilitate to more teachers and students. The building in Enfield at the time did not even have stairs it was just a big hall with no individual rooms. Before and after photos are inspiring and jaw dropping. Our directors worked until late nights for a month or more to make sure the building was ready to open its doors to public. Since September 2014 London School of Art’s mission has been Success for our Students. Since then LSA have been working with the best teachers to inspire students to achieve their gaols and make their dreams come true.
Over years London School of Arts have been selected the finest Art school in North London which has all the art branches; Art, Drama, Dance, Music under the same roof. We have a team of 30 professional, highly qualified and experienced tutors that can teach any level at any age, therefore within these years we have had tremendous achievements in Grade Examinations.
In 2016 London School of Arts has applied for an accreditation from a very prestigious company called ASIC (Accreditation Service for International Colleges). Two years after the opening of the Enfield Town branch we have had a very thorough inspection to see whether our courses, administration and teacher profiles have met the required standards. In 2016 we have been ASIC Accredited.
Recently in September 2019 we have also been awarded as the Performing Art’s School of the Year by London Prestige Awards.
As a performing arts academy we give great importance to the quality of the education we offer. We make sure our students learn the theory with the notes and all the other technical aspects of the instruments they play. This makes a big difference in their Grade exams and their future music career after graduating from LSA.
Not only in Music but also in all the other courses our aim is to inspire, encourage and equip our students to succeed.
